I've learned that it's useless to worry about things because everything gets ok after a while. I'm a big worrier and when I'm in stressfull situations (like when I'm moving), things turn out ok.

I would probably read blogs.

It's tough because I've visited a few already and I would like to go about anywhere. Probably in Denmark.

The Seven Habits of Higly Effective People. But it took me forever to read it, it's kinda complicated for a self-help book.

Why do you blog?
I like to be able to babble about things that might not interrest my relatives and IRL friends. People that read my blog usually have  the same interrest so if I ramble about a lipstick or my skin issues, they do not get bored! Or I hope so. :)

• My first job was at my local newspaper as a journalist.

It's been a while since my last tag, and I just read this one on The Brunette Diaries. So I'm giving it a go!


1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight? 

It is wavy.

2. What is your natural hair color? 

Dark brown, I rarely dye it. Last time was about 7 years ago.


3. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon? 

I don't dye my hair.

4. How often do you wash your hair? 

Twice a week.

5. Do you wear the same style every day or change it? 

Yes, I never do anything with them. I let them do the talking :)

6. Do you do your own mani/pedi or go to a salon? 

I do my own.

7. How often to you change your nail polish? 

Every week, sometimes I like to let them "breath".

8. Do you polish your toes in the winter, too or just in the summer? 

Yes, whenever I feel like it!

9. How long does it take to put on your makeup? 

About 10 minutes for a daily face, 15-20 if I go out.

10. What do you do first? Face or eyes?

I do face (when I  put foundation on), eyes and lips.

11. Do you "collect" makeup or just buy what you need when you need it? 

I''m a hoarder! 'Nuff said...

12. How often do you wear false eyelashes? 

I've never worn them, I have been blessed with Bambi eyelashes :)

13. Do you do a full face of makeup every day? 

No, I try to let my face breathe as well.

14. Do you wear makeup when you are home alone (or with family)?

No.

Yes, sometimes I got to work with a bare face.

A few.

I don't do OOTD posts, but it's on the day usually

Rarely, I hate changing bags, I always forget important things (phone, keys, etc.)

20. What time do you get up and go to sleep? 

Well, when I worked in London I woke up at 7.30 and would go to sleep at 10.30 but right now I don't have a regular schedule, so don't have a routine.

21. How often and when do you workout? 

Well, right now I have a physical job, so it depends howmy  tired I am when I get home. But in London with my office job, I would walk 2-3 times a week for 1 hour to 1.5 hour.

22. Left-handed or right-handed? 

Right-handed.

23. How tall are you? 

5ft 1ins

24. Do yow ou speak a foreign language? 

I speak French (mother tongue) and English, and a little Spanish.

25. How many pets do you have? 

At my parents', we have 1 dog, 4 horses and 7 cats (they're always pregnant!

I try to read a few blog post every day, but I rarely have the opportunity to update my blog daily.

Yes, and I try to reply to everyone!

Bubu is my nickname, coming from one of my last names, and it's about everything girly!

Probably a combination of clothes, shoes, beauty products and candles at TK Maxx. I'm always browsing there these days!

My skull t-shirt, because it is cool and makes my belly look flat!

3) David Beckham, Jonathan Ross, Chico - snog marry avoid???

Pass! I never understand those question and the only one I know is Beckham. Actually make it Becham: snog and marry! Sorry Posh!

4) If you could donate money to only one charity what would it be?

Mira. It is a guide dog charity in Quebec and I like dogs and I think them helping blind people is so noble.

5) What is your favourite saying and why?

Tomorrow is another day. I try to live by it, but I'm struggling, i would love to be able to forget about things that annoy me.

6) Do you believe in UFOS'/aliens?

No. I find them boring.

7) What one thing would you change about yourself and what one thing do you love about yourself?

I would stop worrying for everything. I like the fact i can accomplish big things, like moving abroad. Even though it scares me, I'm proud of it!

8) Marmite - Love it or hate it?

Hate it.

9) What is your job and do you like it?

I'm a Press Assitant for a Tourist Office, helping journalists to publish articles about our destination. Yes, I like it, I have always read magazines and now I'm part of it!

10) Which one male and one female celebrity would you like to banish forever?

Good question! Justin Bieber? Miley Cyrus. Just because they appeal to a generation younger than me, I don't quite get them I would say.

11) Best holiday you have ever been on?

When I did a mini tour of Europe in 2008. I did a pub crawl and I just let my hair down!

I was recently tagged by Bailey from Iknowallthewords to do this tag. It's the first tag I am actually personally tagged to do so it's exciting!

This tag is a little difficult for me, as there is no clear questions, just to list some random facts. So I had to think for a while about what I would consider random enough facts!

Rules: Come up with 15 random facts about yourself and share them with the blog world! After doing this post tag 5 other bloggers to do this!

1. I have shoes in almost every colours you can think of ( except pink, green and grey, which are bizarrely my favorite colours, and orange). But name it I have it: black, white, brown, beige, blue, red, yellow, purple, gold, silver, bronze, turquoise, I might forget some. In my yearbook from college last year, the intro to my text was about that.

This is not my own collection, but it looks like that, with a little less shoes... Sorry I can't credit the image, as it was in my computer at work!

2. I am a little obssesive. You can refer to number 1. If I like something, then suddenly I throw myself into it and I want it in every color/ do it/watch it all the time. This is the case now with nail polishes... I want this one now! So at one point I'll decide enough is enough, I will go cold turkey for a while (last time it lasted a good few years!), then I'll decide I want in again.

3. Which is leading to numer three! I am a true gemini! I like opposites. Always been like that. I had a love/hate relationship with my bachelor's degree program, I like things but at the same times not. I can also be either really shy or super extrovert, depending on how I feel that day.

4. I can be serious though. Last year at school I was awarded the "most serious person" award. I was so stuned that my speech was an inside joke between me and my friends, proving everyone wrong! But really, I can be serious.

5. I am always worrying. Even though I know I planned my things properly, I will worry. Even though I tell myself: "Everything is going to be ok", I still worry. When I left my parent's place at Christmas, and I had to take the bus to get to Montreal, I thought: What if I miss the bus? Then in Montreal I had some time to browse around, I was still thinking: What if my plane was actually leaving at 7:45 in the MORNING instead of at night? What if I arrive late at the airport?

6. Although I dread moving, I have lived in a few different places in the past 8-9 years: I am from a small town in Quebec (which shall remain anonymous), than I moved in Montreal, then Vancouver, then Quebec City, Brussels for two months and now I am in London.

7. I have known my boyfriend for 8 years now. We are an item since 7 1/2 years. When I think about it, it is a long time, but living it is not, as we were appart for long periods of time, when we lived in different places (5-hour plane journey, monthly get-toghether is not an option).

8. I dream of owning my house soon. Dear boyfriend is an architect, so I always tell him: "Oh you know, in my house, you're going to have to draw this (en-suite, walk-in).

9. Even though I really like girly things, and I consider myself girly, I have a "tomboyish" side. I ususally end up with guy roommates, friends, colleagues. Somehow, I always end up "one of the boys"! I don't know why, but it's like this.


10. I like singing and karaoke. When I'm in a car, I like to sing along to the radio. I am not the best singer ever, and I don't do it to annoy people, I usually do it when I'm alone or with people I know, I don't sing in front of strangers!

11. But I hate Glee. I hate that name, the show, and anything in relation to it. Actors from Glee always sound like it's a cult when they do interviews: "We are all friends, bla bla bla, we help children who are marginalized, yadayadayada. Plus, it reminds me of the high school choir in my hometown, they were always singing in Tim Hortons, it was the most annoying thing!!!

12. When I was 4, I wanted to marry Tintin. So I read all the albums over and over, and I still enjoy it. Every Christmas, when I go back to my parents, I have a Tintin marathon. That also explains, in part, why I did my internship in Belgium!

13. I am a magazine junkie. I am always reading something, and I currently have a magazine backlog. I try to tear up pages I want to keep, but because I have a backlog now, I am not sure which mag I have finished, which pages I want to keep, so I have to recheck the mag and it takes time. Hopefully next week it will be over!!

14. I hate Twilight! I read the first book because I was curious to know what was the fuss about. I had difficulties to read it because the characters and so hatable! I hate them. But because I started reading it, I hate to read all 4 of them, I'm like thatL I hate to start and not finish something.

15. Bridget Jones: this is pure genius! Again, I have read the books and watch the movies over and over! My boyfriend, and even now my flatmate Ben, are fed up with this. But I don't even watch it when they're there! Anyway, I like the books and movies because it's funny, and also because every girl can relate. It's not really for the "quest for love" plot that I love it, but more for the "I don't feel I'm meeting some expectations" feeling. If I want to feel good about myself, a little Bridget does the trick. If I feel bad about my job, or my relationships, I can always watch the movie and tell myself "I am not that bad".

I decided to answer a beauty tag today! Woohoo my first tag! It comes from Tonia, from Allaboutbeauty.

Here it is!

1.What is your beauty style? (Natural,trendy etc.)
I have two. One is more of a natural one, with beige and pink eyeshadow. The other one is more colorful, 80's inspired! But it's pretty simple, I either put beige eyeshadow and bright color eyeliner or a bright colored eyeliner with a glitter eyeliner.


2. Where do you get your beauty inspiration from?
I like to wacht other girls' syle on the street, blogs and magazines.
3.What beauty products do you have the most of?

I have lots of lipglosses and lipsticks. I also own loads of perfumes (if considered a beauty products), as I like to change them considering everything: my mood, my outfit, the weather, the season, if I have a headache or not... (Like today I put an overpowering one, Ricci Ricci, and regret it as I didn't have much sleep last night.)

4.What's your favorite / holy grail color for:

Eyes: I like the combination of Caroline Khol liner in Jade (really old) and Lise Watier's Eye Glitter Liner in Opale.
Lips: Hmmm... It changes a lot, so I cannot say really!
Cheeks: I am pretty conservative cheek-wise and always put the same blusher on: Anna Sui Face Color in 400, a tea-rose pink. I absolutely love the retro packaging, feels so glamourous!
Nails: I like Sally Hansen French manicure kits.

5.Three favorite brands at the moment:
-Lise Watier: It is a classic in Quebec, Canada. I remember my mother wearing this brand when I was young, and I think the brand is still trendy and has nice products for every generation.

-Nails Inc: Well, I like the fact that they are part of lots of promotions and it's a new brand for my as I am a newbie in the UK!

-Anna Sui: As I said before, I love the packaging. I also love the colors and the rose smell of the products!
