I got this neon pink nail polish a few years ago, when PixiGlow launched their Tinker Bell inspired collection. This colour is the Pirouette Pink*. All the collection was lovely, really girly!

Two coats was needed for this, as with most nail polishes. It chipped easily though, but maybe it was me doing lots of manual things in the past days.

The color, being neon really helped to brighten the gloomy days we had last week! And we now have sun, so maybe it helped to call it as well...

This was a limited edition a few years ago, and I do apologize for being such a tease. But you can find similar shades in other brands, on top of my head I'm thinking about Sally Hansen and  Sinful Color.

This week's manicure is made using MeMeMe Nail Collection Long Lasting Gloss in Pensive, which is a light blue with a tinge of green. The colour is similar to Maximillian Strasse-Her. I prefer the Maximillian shade though, as I think it is a little bit mintier. To get a nice opaque finish, you need three coats.

The manicure was actually with another colour on the thumbs, but it chipped, so I decided to only show you Pensive. I'll probably try the effect with other colors soon, it is a little bit like the ombré nails that were in last year or the previous one, but using only 1 other similar shade on one nail.

Do you like pale nail polish? Do you also notice that you always tend to gravitate towards the same shades?

Today's manicure is all in subtlety. The reason why is because I'm having an interview tomorrow, so might as well play on the safe side and forget about loud and bold colours for now.

Essie Sugar Daddy is a light sheer pink. Wether you put one or two coats, it stays sheer, so it's not a buildable colour. On the nails, it just appears like a sheer topcoat. I think if you would like to bring out the pink in it, you can use it in a French manicure. I went for the basic option.

Either way, it would be a great bridal nail polish.

I kinda have a nautical phase right now. And I thought this Lancôme Vernis Magnétic in Code Red would fit the vibe perfectly.

This is a mini polish I got a long time ago. But I think the colour is easy to find in other brands. It is a vibrant true red. The kind Taylor Swift would wear!

It applies well, and lasts a few good days. My nail polish bad spell is over!
