Manicure Monday: A Few Blue Hues
15:30:00
These past few weeks, I've been drawn by the sea like I've never really been before. I'm not sure why. I've almost always lived by the sea and to me, it doesn't have that power it seems to have on people. I liked it, it's beautiful and that was about it.
But it seems to have changed in the last weeks. On top of that, I've been craving blue in my life. And I re-decorated my room with that need.
I also thought why not continuing with that theme for a Manicure Monday post? Here are a few blue polishes to get you into Spring mood!
Pacifica 7 Free Nail Color in Pool Party: This is a dark purplish blue. A good transition color, and you can see it here!
Essie Butler Please: Such a nice almost electric blue. Everytime I'm at the Essie stand, I'm always drawn to it, to realise I already have this beauty!
L'Oréal Paris Miss Pixie: This was limited edition, as part of a gelly colour collection. It reminds me of Nails Inc Baker Street, and that's why I got it. The formula is sheer, unless you put it on top of another polish like I did in this post.
Nails Inc Bluebell: This is probably my favourite Spring colour. It was a special edition for the UK InStyle a few years ago. You can see it paired with Miss Pixie here.
Julep Portia: If you like mermaids, then you'll like this one! A glitter turquoise, stuff that dreams are made of!
What is your favourite shade of blue?
P.S: You can see all my Manicure Monday posts here!

ReplyDeleteYes, they are great colours! I'm normally a pink and mint girl, but blue got a hold on my heart these days!
