Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

I just wanted to share the love today by writing a few things I like about my love, Michaël.

His brown eyes. Oh I'm melting. :)

He is curious, interested about many things such as music, astronomy, politics, etc.

His tattoos. I'm not a tattoo whore, but he has many and it suits him.

His teeth. That was one of the first things I noticed about him.

He brings me coffee (or soup or chocolate milk) to work.

He likes to join my parents and I for brunch at Tim's on Sundays.

He makes me feel intelligent.

He is sensitive, even though he looks like a bad boy hehe.

His laugh.

How he is with his parents' dog, Cassie.

I've been planning this Valentine's Manicure video for a little while, and I'm glad of the result. It is the first time I'm doing a voice-over, and it's been easier than I'd thought!

The manicure itself is also pretty simple, as I'm not a Picasso! If I can do it, everyone can ;).

Are you doing something special for Valentine's Day?

Every year in Febuary, Clarins partners with Jean Coutu to provide us with their Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector (regular lineup), which $10 goes to the Fondation Sainte-Justine. Fondation Sainte-Justine is a well-known organization in Québec that helps sick children.

What I like about it is that half of the price of the gloss goes to the Fondation, which is a good amount! And the price of the product is the same than the other regular colour of the line up.



The colour is a slightly peachy pink, that can easily be applied without the need of a miror, as it is pretty clear. So it will be a great addition to purses! It  comes in a tube and has a sponge applicator. It smells like vanilla cake, which is divine!

This year, the packaging is adorned by a drawing of 7-year-old Florence Emmanuelle. She comes from a family of five children, all of them born at the CHU Sainte-Justine. I like this addition, it ties the product to the cause, rather than just having a regular package with the Câlins logo, like in the past.

The "Rose Câlins" shade can be bought only in February in Jean Coutu drugstores in Québec.

Valentine's Day is tomorrow and we probably all want to look our best for this!

I came up with this fresh faced makeup look yesterday, and I think it will be pperfect for the occasion! It's easy to recreate and the products used are all (except one) from the drugstore (Canadian and UK).
