I have a 2-in-1 post for you today! The first picture are the empties I got in Paris. I didn't bring them back with me, it would have been silly! But I took a picture so I can report on them.

The second one is a mix of September Empties, that were still in my closet when I left and the rest of this month's empties.

BBW Pumpkin Spice Latte Foaming Soap: I love BBW Foaming Soaps. The pump squirt a good amount and then it leaves a nice scent on your hands. This one might be too sweet for some though.

No7 Protect & Perfect Day Cream: I liked this cream, not greasy but luxurious! And the scent is really particular to it, reminds me of good memories!

Maybelline Dream Nude Airfoam Foundation: I got mine in Natural Beige, and I talked about it in a Favourites post. I think it's actually the first time I finish a foundation. I've chucked some in the past but finishing, that's the first time. I like it, but it's quite messy!

Biosilk Silk Therapy Serum: I've been using this since I'm 17 and even though I try to replace it with other options as it contains silicons, nothing beats it. I used to have backups if this because it was not always available where I was, hence the old bottle. I don't have one now, so I'll wait and see!

Vichy Corrector in 14 Nude: I can't recall the name of this one, and on the website the only corrector is not fitting. I liked it though, this sample lasted ages and the colour was perfect for my imperfections. I think I still have samples of this in the other shades.

Estée Lauder Double Wear in Outdoor Beige: The product was good, but the colour was too dark for me! Usually the shades in the samples are pretty close to my complexion but this one was too dark, so I had to mix it to use it.

Dove Soaps: As you can see, I usually use a variety of Dove soaps. I know they're not the most natural out there, and the dyes in it are terrible (I saw it transfer on another soap in my soap box in Europe). But it doesn't live me with a greasy film and that's what matters to me.

Synergen Day & Night Cream: This is a cream I got in Germany. The product in itself is good for oily skin, it is fresh and not greasy. The only thing is that the scent, even though it is good, is overpowering. Must not be good for the skin!

BBW Pumpkin Caramel Latte: This is the candle I had on my desk in Europe and all my coworkers were alwys commenting on it when I was burning it. One even came in my office just to smell it!

Garancia Que mes rougeurs disparaissent Serum: I've seen Garancia products when I was in France, but this is the first time I try one. I liked the feeling of this serum, which is more like a cream to me. The scent was nice. I couldn't really see a difference on my redness though, but I think it deals more with rosacea than spots redness.

So for September I finished 7 products, and in December, 16. Not bad. Here's to a good Empties 2015 :P

This is the second to last Empties post of the year. God, where did 2014 go?

As usual, I finished a few Dove bar soaps. I know they're not the most natural option, I know! They get the job done, and doesn't leave a sticky film on my skin.

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Tropical: I'm not a fan of the Original one, but it seems that I prefer the scented version. Not for the scent though, but it seems to perform better. Go figure!

Women Sure Crystal Invisible Aqua: I liked thi deodorant, it has a fresh scent that doesn't clash with my natural one and it's efficient. I got this one in the  UK, It think the French equivalent is called Rexona. Not sure for the Canadian version though.

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Blush: This is my favourite from Batiste to date. As suggested, it floral, but not too granny.

Bioderma Sebium Purifying Cleansing Foaming Gel: I liked this one, you can even read a more detailed review here.

Vasanti BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator: I hate when the title of a product is not clear on what this is. In this case, it is an exfoliating cleanser. I used it every day, and didn't have problems, the exfoliating beads are not too strong. I wouldn't suggest a daily use for sensitive skin though.

REN Evercalm Gentle Cleansing Milk: This was too gentle for me. It would be perfect for sensitive skin though, but for my oily skin, from REN I prefer the Rosa Centifolia Hot Cloth Cleanser.

I also finished a vial of Miss Dior Chérie, which is one of my favourite perfumes.

So 9 in total, not bad! Lets' do better in December ;)

I haven't done a Empties post last month as I was in  transit and all that jazz. So the loot this month is not too big, as I didn't bring all my half empties things with me here. Guess I'll finish them in December! So those are the products I finished in Paris in October ;)

Nectar of Nature Cleansing Gel with Real Marseille Soap: Gee why have names so long? This is olive and lemon scented, not my favourite, but it would be well in a kitchen. It was a good soap, but again, I prefer sweet scent.

MUA Intense Colour Eyeliner Pencil: I really liked this eyeliner. It was only £1, got a sharpener and was creamy enough to put in my waterline (what I use black liner for). Would def repurchase!

Kenzo Jeu d'Amour Eau de Parfum Sample: I got a ton of these samples at Marionnaud. It is ok, but not one I would purchase.

Dior Star Studio Makeup Spectacular Brightening: I got this sample in 030 Medium Beige, which suits me. I really liked it, Anna likes it, a good one! Now one day I'll treat myself to a designer foundation, it might be this one or the Giorgio Armani Silk one.

L'Image High Intensity Color Shine Conditionner: You know the drill. I like those little tube of conditionner in home hair dyes.

Batiste Blush Dry Shampoo: You know I'm not a big fan of Batiste and that I prefer the Klorane dry shampoos. Well,  I liked this one. It's the best I've tried so far from the Batiste range (I've also tried the Original and the Tropical ones).

Dove Soaps: I like Dove soaps, they smell good, but I realise it's not the most natural option. I know it's not worst than shower gels but anyway!

I also finished a soap that I didn't have the packaging with me. So that makes 10 empties for October.

Did you finish lots of products in October?

I'm quite happy of May's Empties. They were quite good products on the whole!

Dove Refresh + Care Invigorating Dry Shampoo: This is a good dry shampoo. Not my favourite but certainly better than the Batiste! It has the signature Dove scent, which I like, but in this case, I think they forced the dose a tad too much. To the point that when I was using this, there was no point on putting a perfume, as the shampoo would override it. I got lots of good compliments on my scents though! I can see myself repurchasing it as my favourite (the Klorane one) is just so expensive!

MONU Professional Skincare First Defence Hydrating Moisturiser SPF 15: I didn't finish this product as I think it turned or something. I wrote that I liked it in my Sample Sundays post a while back. Which I did back then. I even brought it with me in Quebec City as it is a sample size and just perfect to carry and used it throughout most of May. At some point I just realised that it became rich, and not lightweight as it was in the beginning, Also, I noticed I started to have some bumps on my forehead, like spost, but just bumps. When I stopped using this, they went away. I guesse the cream was just to rich, which it totally wasn't at first.

MUA Lash Boom Mascara: I don't know why this tube was still in my empties pot! I talked about it in my April Empties.

2True 3 in 1 Concealer: This came in handy in May, as I had breakouts. It is similar to the Collection one, but it's even cheaper. If you're in the UK, you can pick this in Superdrug.

The Skin Regime 1-4-All Peel: Oh I liked this product! I used most of it at the end of the summer, and then I wanted to use the remainder as an extra boost but I had about 2 applications left. So now I cannot use it to remove my recent scars. I bought the Pepta-Bright, but I feel it is not as effective as this peeling, meanind the Pepta-Bright is more a solution on the long term. I will probably purchase this, this one was a PR sample.

Clinique High Impact Mascara: I've had a few of these samples in my life and I like it. It's hard to review a mini mascara as sometimes the wand is different than the regular one. But this one is kind of my regular mascara, as I've had so many but I never bought the full size!

Lush Angel's Delight Soap: This one comes every year for Christmas and this year I bought two. This is the first I finish, so I'm covered until next year! I like the scent, it's really bubble gummy. If you like Snow Fairy, you'll like this soap!

And that accounts for 12 finished products for May! Quite chuffed as it is not all samples! Hahaha!

Did you finished products that you liked /disliked in May?

By now everyone knows about dry shampoo. Or should. But there is an air about me that says that I am clueless about them, I guess. Last week I was checking the options at my local drugstore (they were almost all on offer) and was asked by the clerck:

-Do you know what's a dry shampoo?

Duh! I was then looking at the Klorane one when she said:

-Oh we have that one on offer this week, pointing the Dove one.

-Yes but this one interests me.

-Have you tried it? Because it's expensive...

-Yes I have, thank you.

I don't know why she was like that because I know her and she never interferes like that. Maybe she thought she knew a lot about dry poos and she needed to share. But I didn't like it. I don't mind being suggested other options, but this was just too pushy for my liking!

Anyway! On to today's subject! I have talked about dry shampoos a few years ago and compare some of them, the Batiste Original and the Charles Worthington Takeaways on the Go. I realised that back then I had promised a review on the Klorane Gentle Dry Shampoo with oat milk. I forgot to write this one. Sorry, I've been a bad blogger :( I hope this post can make up for it, as I now include my thought on it.

Dove Refresh + Care Invigorating Dry Shampoo: It's the cheapest of those three, at around 5$. Lots of people have complained in the past that the packaging let the gaz evaporate, leaving them with an empty bottle. It seems that they have now corrected this and I didn't have this problem with this poo. (But I had with another one). Most people adore the smell, and it does smell good, but I find it too overpowering for a dry shampoo. If I use this, I should forget to wear perfume as it would be useless. It is that strong. Otherwise, I have nothing bad to say about it, it brushes well and don't leave a white cast.

Batiste Blush Dry Shampoo: I got this in the UK last summer, but Batiste dry shampoos will set you back around 10$ in Canada. Batiste is probably the most loved dry shampoo brand, but I'm not a fan. I did try this one because it was super cheap and I wanted to love the brand. But I'm still not convinced. The smell is nice though, it reminds me of my copy of Marc Jacobs Daisy (sorry I don't remember the real Daisy's smell). It leaves a white cast though. I used it yesterday and I brush it thouroughly before leaving home and it seemed fine with the bathroom lighting only for my mum to tell me at the store that my hair looked gray :( I think this one is better than the Orginal I have tried though as it doesn't feel wet.

Klorane Extra Gentle Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk: It is my favourite one. It has been since the first bottle I have tried almost three years ago. This one was a press sample, but I have repurchased since, and at 15$ a pop, you understand why I also try other brands (the one on the pic is a sample size one though). It doesn't leave a white cast, and it helps the hair feeling lighter, something I have never really noticed in other dry shampoos. The smell is nice, but also subtle, which is also quite unique amonst the dry poo posse.

Tell me now if you use dry shampoo and which one is your favourite!
