Same thing for the navy blazer. This is one of my favourite blazers of all times! After looking in my boxes and not finding it, I came to the conclusion that I might have given it to charity when I left. But this week I found it! In the suitcase I have turned upside down a few times!

I like shopping the stash! Especially now that I'm not working, I cannot justify to buy as much prducts as before!

This week's shop is mainly skincare. Now that summer seems to be back, I'm gonna take advantage of it and go tanned outside!


Carmex Strawberry Moisturizing Lipbalm*: This one is clear and has SPF 15, so I use it when I go tanning outside. I like the fact it doesn't smell like fake strawberry as much as most products, in fact, mixed with the signature Carmex scent (nethol and camphor), I rather find it smells like freckled (strawberry) lemonade :)

Tropic Tan SPF 30 Sunburn Protection Lotion: This comes from Dollarama and I don't have anything to complain about. It smells like cocoa (it has cocoa butter in it), and doesn't leave that annoying white cast some might do (like the Burt's Bee one).

Eyeko big Eyes Mascara: This is the old formula. I haven't tried the new, because it's 3x the price! Eeek! But the original formula was really good, my last tube is almost finished :(

Annabelle Glitterama Liquid Eyeliner in Kryptonite: I,m glad to rediscover Annabelle's product, now that I am back! I also like glitter eyeliner, they are perfect when you don't what to do an elaborate eye, but you do want something to pop. Kryptonite is pale green and easier to wear than you would think.

Clarins Moisture Quenching Hydra-Care Lotion: I'm not a big fan of Clarins moisturizers as they usually are too rich for me. And I will wear them as a night cream. But since this one has SPF 15, I'm going to use it during the day.

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer: I always forget I have this sample. It's because you have to apply it 20 minutes before washing your hair. When I decide I wash it, I go straight in the shower, and then I remember about treating it! Oh well, I'll make an extra effort this week!

Long time to see (or blog). I have been away in Quebec City twice in the last month. As I am still waiting for my visa to be processed, I try the best as I can to change my mind and do things.

Well, when i arrived at my parents' place back in May, I have promised you a Shopping the Stash with the products i have left there. Here it is! Some people will say that it's old makeup, yes it is, but I don't mind. I actually have been shopping the stash, even though i haven't posted about it.

Here are the products I will be using this week!


Cover Girl Nail Slick Nail Polish in Mint Sorbet: God, these were my favourite nail polish back in high school. Maybe I shouldn't say that... Anyway, I'll try if it's still good. I tested it real quick the other day and it seemed fine!

L'Oréal Shine Délice in Strawberry Smash: One of my all time favourite lipstick. You can see it's almost finished (yay for empties!).

Faces Eyeshadow: Now, I cannot say what are the names of the colours. It's a vanilla beige and a copper brown, The vanilla shade is almost gone, another favourite! I have used the shade in the past 2 weeks, and I sincerely don't know why I stopped using it! Love!

Annabelle Duo Blush in Coral Reef: I bougt this because I was looking for an orange eyeshadow and couldn't find one... That was eons ago! I used to use it as an eyeshadow, but have been using it as a proper blusher lately and it's the perfect summery shade.

Fruits & Passion Orange Cantaloup Hand Soap: Fruits & Passion regularly have those stations where you can take a few samples. It smells like you would expect, like orange fruits.

Origins All and Nothing Sheer Pressed Powder: This is a good pressed powder, I have stopped using the sample because I thought the colour was too pale, when it actually is translucent.

Now tell me I'm not the only one using old products! Please confess!

I forgot to put a Shopping the Stash post last week, but here is this week's. I am aware a few products this week were limited editions a while ago, and that you cannot buy them anymore, but my stash has a lot of old stuff!

UNE Skin-Glow Foundation

I had this foundation since April or so, but didn't really like it. It was tacky, and made my under eyes look ashy. I have tried it the other day, and since winter time is here, the tackyness problem is gone. I guess my skin needed more moisture than I thought! I still have the under eye problem, but I guess I'll just avoid that area with this product.


Sleek Blush in Flamingo

I totally forgot I had this! That's why Shopping the Stash is good! I like how this shade is giving me a doll look, all innocent!


Maybelline Expert Eyes Eyeshadow in New Gloss City

How ridiculous are those long names?! But this quad has been my favourite for years (I think it was limited edition for the Holiday period a while ago). I am almost hitting pan on three of the shades. The only one I am not using as much is the purple one; it has a different formulation and is hard to work with.


Avon Astonishing Lengths Mascara in Black

I like how this mascara is giving length. If that's your main concern, you might want to try it. However, in general I prefer volume. But I enjoy using this mascara, it doesn't clump and gives a nice effect.


Lancôme Color Fever in 312

This is the perfect frosty pink! It is nice with purple eyeshadow, again I am thinking of this doll-faced look.


Elizabeth Arden High Shine Lip Gloss in Pink Champagne

Again, I think this was limited edition, as I don't see this shade on their website anymore. But it has been one of the first nude gloss I have worn, and even though I still have problems with working nudes, this shade is easy to wear.


Barry M Glossy Tubein Shout1

Another limited edition product. I got this one in Shout Mag last year. It has a nice pinkish peach colour.

Another week has gone by! I didn't have the opportunity to do a Shopping the Stash post, as I was in Sweden, visiting my boyfriend's uncle!

Anyway, I always try to change what I use, just to jazz things up a bit! Here is what I will use this week!

Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2 in 1 Foundation + Serum in Golden 75*

Have have been using this foundation about all Automn except the last few weeks. But I missed it! And the colour is more of a match for my winter shade. I cannot fault this foundation!

Lacura Beauty Powder Blush in 76 Sunset

I have forgotten I had this! This is the joy of Shopping the Stash. I was deploring the fact I don't have much choice of blusher, when I remembered I have this, and I haven't used it yet!

Illamasqua Liquid Metal in Phenomena

I like this one, but i don't get to use it on an everyday basis. But if I have to go out, I will use it as a primer, it gives a nice metallic sheen to eyeshadows.

Nameless Eyeshadow Quad

I received this last year in a Teen Magazine (Shout, maybe?) and the colours are amongst my favourite. It is kind of a dupe of those Body Shop quads. I can't compare the quality, as I have never tried the Body Shop ones.

Eyeko Big Eyes Mascara

This mascara is really good to give volume. Unfortunately, they have changed their products, so again, I cannot compare it to the current version...

myfacecosmetics Slinky Matte Liquid Liner*

This eyeliner is super easy to apply! The wand is easy to manipulate, and it makes for a mess-free application.

Models Own Diet Coke Lipgloss Glossy Pink

I haven't used this one yet, but I have tried the Golden Nude one and I like it. This will fit the pink/blue eyeshadows I have chosen for this week.

I usually use this one in the summer. It might be a tad dark for this time of year, I will have to double-check! But I like this foundation, one of my favourite and it was actually the first one I bought!

NARS Blush Orgasm

I think this one doesn't need any further details, as everyone is always talking about it. But I decided to use this one as it is a soft shade, that will go well with the eyeshadows.

MAC Paint Pot in Rubenesque

Ah this one is a hard worker! I love it on its own, but as well as a primer. And it looks well with so many eyeshadows!

ELF Mineral Eyeshadows in Caffeinated, Sweet and Celebrity
These are a nice combo if I want something neutral, but with a little bit of colour!

Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner in Moray

I like the kakhi green colour, and it is going to be less harsh thatn black with the neutral colours I have chosen!

Eyeko Big Eyes Mascara

This is the older packaging. I like that this mascara makes my eyelashes more voluminous. This is what I look for in a mascara rather than length.

MAC Lipstick in Angel

A soft pink, it is one of my favourite lipstick!

Model's Own Lipgloss in Golden Nude

I think this will look good with the MAC lipstick, and give it a bit of colour so I don't look washed out.

I saw this idea from Adrienne a few weeks ago and meant to do it, but never got around to officially do. The concept is simple. On Sunday, you choose the products (in your own stash) that you will wear for the week. This is a way to get out of your comfort zone, and to use products that you don't necessarily think about on a daily basis.

I did chose a few products for a week a few times, but it was all unofficial. But this week, since I know I am going to be busy and outside the office (hello, Wolrd Travel Market!), I think it's a good way to plan ahead what I am going to be sporting! Here is what I have chosen!


17 Photo Flawless Foundation in Soft Ivory

It's been a while since I have used this one (I was trialling the Max Factor one, that I love, but I want a change now) and I might be on a few pictures this week. So this one should be perfect, as it is "Photo Flawless". I haven't really tried this claim really yet, but as long as I don't have a ghost face I will be happy!

VIVO Ultimate Base Concealer Kit*

I will probably have a few early mornings this week, so hopefully this will conceal dark circles I might have (fingers crossed that I won't have any).

Anna Sui Face Colour in 400

I had this blush since uni, but it is still a staple in my makeup bag, when I want more colours. This gives me a "doll" look, which is nice at this time of year, it'll give me a glow, like i have been playing outside.

Illamasqua Pure Pigment in Tingle

I haven't used this yet, so I cannot say anything about it for now. But I will use it in my inner eyes.

myface.cosmetics Blingtone in Sugar Plum*

Another product I havent (technically) tried. The makeup artist at the Beauty Playground Event put another colour on my eyes and it was really nice. She also told me that those shadows don'T need primer. Winner!

This is a nice mascara, it really gives length. I would rather have volume though. But this is alright on an everyday basis.

Ciaté Lipgloss in St. Barts

This is a nice nude gloss, that goes with everything. As I might have the accent on my eyes, I will play safe with my lips.

myface.cosmetics Lil' Bling in Sugar Plum*

The matching polish to the eyeshadow. I never do matchy-matchy, for the sole reason as I don't necessarily own matching products, But since the shadow will be blended with another one, it will just be subtly matchy-matchy.
