May Empties
21:37:00May Empties |
Wow! I went above and beyond with empties this month.
Seeing that I bought a lot in April (with my Quebec City weekends) and that the first few days predicted a good empties month, I decided to go for 45 empties for May. That's crazy but I did it!
Body products |
Sally Hansen Brush-on in-Shower Hair Remover: Bought this at Dollarama for $2.50 and this product is good. The only thing though is that it doesn't work in the shower. The cream melts :( Maybe I just got a daft bottle, I have another one, but don't want to waste it so I'm not trying. But otherwise, I got nothing to complain about!
Palmer's Cocoa Body Scrub*: I've said it before, I'm usually not a fan of commercial scrub. I find them not "scrubbing" enough compare to my homemade one. But I got send this one, and I like it. Of course, how can you not like Palmer's products when you're a chocolate junkie, they smell so good!
Face Products |
Hit the Spot Oil Free Moisturiser: I have talked a lot about this, and try to make it last a long while because I think it is discontinued :( But I like it, it's light, got tea tree in it, and helps my crazy spot prone skin. You can also read about my favourite spots products.
Olay Fresh Effects Shine Minimizing Cleanser: I also think this cleanser helped my skin to clear. Or maybe it's the little brush that came with it. Because this cleanser looks a bit chemical... I mean, it's silver!
Hair Products |
John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Liquid Shine Illuminating Shampoo and Conditioner: I usually like John Frieda's shampoos and conditioners. This was no exception. I didn't notice a difference with the regular Brillliant Brunette collection, but then again, last time I used it was a while ago. So it's difficult to compare.
Makeup and Teeth products |
Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation in 53 Light Beige: I talked about this one in last month's Empties post. Love it!
Cover Girl Natureluxe Foundation in Aspen: I talked about the Maple one in my December Empties post. Still love it.
Scents |
Loblaws Chocolate Chip Scented Candle: This one smells yummy. Just like chocolate, and looks like Nutella. The only problem I had with it was that it melted like it was on cocaine! In the end, it melted evenly, but I still had to pour an excessive amount into another glass to limit the damage. And I can tell you this is really a problem with Loblaws bigger candles. They don't burn into a nice pool. But the little ones are perfect! So buy those instead, you'll have more scent for your money ;)
And that concludes May Empties. In June, I want to finish 30 products. It might be hard because I don't have a lot of mostly finished products like I had in May. We'll see!
