VIVO Goodies

I have seen a few VIVO posts in the last few weeks and I was really intrigued... The colour range seems good, and the pigmentation was dense.

So I was really pleased to receive a few goodies to try and review!

I got:
VIVO Shimmer and ShineLipgloss in Frosted Pink
VIVO Ultimate Base Concealer Kit
VIVO Trio Eyeshadow Palette in Graphite Glamour

At first sight, I was really pleased. I love when the products have a nice sleek packaging, but funky/pop colour (sometimes I like neutrals, but I prefer colours).

This fantastic portable palette, with a mini highlighter and concealer is all you need to maintain the ultimate complexion on the go.

The first product I have tried was the Ultimate Base Concealer Kit (£5). The two colours are not too dark, not too light. They can be blended for customisation. I think they would suit a lot of people (medium skintone). The palette contains a brush with a tip applicator on the other side. There is also a translucent powder to set the concealer and an illuminator pen.

This pen ressembles a little bit like the Benefit High Beam, but with a sponge-tip applicator.

Coat lips in these shimmer and shine lip glosses for high shine luscious lips. Available in Nude Shimmer,Just Peachy, Pink Frost.

Lipglosses are a must in a girl's makeup bag! The VIVO Shimmer and Shine Lip Gloss in Frosted Pink (£1.99) has a slightly blue tone to it, making it a cool (rather than warm) colour. Its smell reminds me of Bubbliscious Bubble Gum in Watermelon, and brings back memories from my childhood. It's not that sticky, I would say it's buttery, creamy.

I am not fond of the applicator, it is too long and narrow.

A collection of 5 stunning eyeshadows to blend for the perfect mosky eye. Available in: Sugar Plum, Graphite Glamour, Green with Envy, Be-Dazzled and Innoncence.

I kept the best for the end! I saw a few reviews of the VIVO Trio Eyeshadow Palette (£2.50) and was impressed with the swatches, as they seem so pigmented. I got the shade Graphite Glamour, consisting of a shimmery white, a blue-grey and a charcoal. All of them have shimmer in it. Well, this is not an everyday palette, but nevertheless it is good for creating smokey eyes on a night out! As they seem, they are pigmented and last well.

When I saw that VIVO was benchmarked as the MAC supermarket make-up brands, I had to put it to the test! The colours reminded me of two MAC eyeshadows I have, Forgery (shimmery white) and Carbon (black). As you can see in the picture below, the VIVO swatches are more pigmented than the MAC ones! And this is one coat for VIVO, vs two for MAC (even 4-5 for Forgery!) without primer.

So I would say that overall, they are good quality/price products. I think the star is definitely the eyeshadow palette!

VIVO has a wide range of products ranging from £1.50 to £6. They are available at Tescos.
