Down Memory Lane: Annabelle Blush 67
15:04:00Today I want to share with you my first ever makeup product! I remember the day I got it, I was in love with the pink, and I also got a Vidal Sassoon makeup bag in a matching colour (I couldn't find this one though). I'm talking about the Annabelle Blush in 67.
I must have been 5 when I got this blush. I chose it myself :) My mum was giving me her hand-me-downs to play grown-up with, but this one was mine! And only mine!
I actually never really wore this blush, as the colour was kinda scary in the pan. I only started to use it this summer. The texture is fine, maybe a little chalky compared to products today and it has no smell. So this stands the test of time!
The Annabelle Blush in 67 (they didn't have names at the time ) is a blue-toned pink that screams bubble gum! The colour is buildable, which mean it can be subtle if you don't spray it too heavily.
Do you still have your first ever makeup product? I'ld like to see!

Hiiii! Le vernis ca "pourrit" vite, hein?
DeleteI can't believe you still have it! I don't think I remember my 'own' first makeup purchase, but it was probably something by Wet n Wild.
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm a bit of a hoarder...
DeleteI didn't have a lot of Wet n Wild products, but I do remember seeing them at Wal-Mart in my teens!
OMG, that is old! It has to be at least 15 years old because the packaging was black when I joined the company... in 2000! I seriously wouldn't recommened using it lol. It certainly will be chalky. It's had time to dry up in the last decade or two ;o) But I can totally relate. I still hold on to my very first lipstick, which I used to wear in grade 2! It is a wonderful deep purple from Wet N' Wild. I think my lips would fall off if I was to try it on these days. :op
ReplyDeleteYes, it is indeed really old! But I have to admit it's not looking too shabby! Great brand you're working for!

ReplyDeleteW-O-W! Tu parles d'une relique!! J'adore ♥
ReplyDeleteJ'ai conservé quelques trucs moi aussi, comme mon premier baume à lèvres (pas vraiment de marque, mais il sent vraiment bon les fraises... il doit avoir 15 ans!)
