Curry Perfume, anyone?

I read in this Sunday's News of the World that a Cotswold perfume company, Essentially Me, will launch a collection of curry-inspired perfume this summer.

In association with Chaat! (a curry magazine), Essentially Me created 5 scents around the currry theme. Tikka Massala (the nation's favourite!), Korma, Madras, Rogan Josh and Vindaloo promises to be blends of coriander, cinnamon leaf, celery seed, and sandalwood, amonst others.

"Many current perfumes are actually created using aromatic ingredients found in Indian food", said Alec Lawless, head perfumer at Essentially Me.

Calvin Klein Eternity for Men Summer: Citrus, Mint, Coriander, Open Air Accord, Watermelon, Anise Star, Galbanum, Muguet, Cedarwood, Red Amber, Patchouli.

The price for the perfumes are yet to be fixed.
