This month, Glamour is offering a choice of 4 Percy & Reed hair products: Splendidly Silky Shampoo and Conditioner, Quite Frankly Flawless Finishing Polish , or Totally TLC Rehydrating Mask.

I got the conditionner with my subscriber copy and picked up a shampoo with another one. I have tried the conditioner a few times and like it, but only tried the shampoo once yet. I like the fact that both have the same fragrance, I find it weird when matching shampoo and condition don't have matching scents!

Each product is worth on average £10.

Other freebies to look out for this month is Cosmopolitan offering 2 sample size Clinique products and Marie Claire giving away Neal's Yard Rehydrating Rose Daily Moisture.

Happy New Year! I hope you had a great time during the holidays. I was in Germany at one of my boyfriend's friends and we had a good time. Let me know what you have been up to!

If you grab a copy of Glamour this month (cover girl is Kelly Brook) you will find a voucher giving you a lip gloss at L'Occitane! You can chose between Delice des Fruits Lip Balm worth £8.50 and a Delice des Fleurs Lip Gloss in either Rose or Violette (worth £8 each)

Here is one of the Nails Inc polish you can get this month in Glamour. Every year around that period, they do this offer, which is nice (just in time for Christmas)! I got Tate with my subscription copy, and it is a classic deep red. The colour is actually a little darker than on the picture. I like that kind of colour in Fall and Winter, but it is a classic you can sport all year around! I find myself thinking of living in the 20's and being all elegant!

Be aware though, that you will need a basecoat with this as it stains a LOT! This is one coat, which is ok, but two would be better.



The December 2011 issue of Glamour features Kirsten Stewart and is on sale now. Other colours you can chose from are (left to right): Basil Street (Beige), Picadilly Circus (Purple/Pink), Victoria (Blackish Red) and Tate (Deep Red).

I'm wondering which one is going to be the best-seller? Usually beige are popular, but I'm thinking maybe the tides have turned!

Shout (Until 19th July 2011)

In this Shout edition (Emma Watson on the cover), you will find a lipgloss! Magazine costs £2.50

InStyle (August 2011)

When you grab this month's edition of InStyle (featuring Nicole Scherzinger), you can choose between a The Body Shop Mascara or 2 Eyeliners (Black and Navy). InStyle is £3.70


Cosmopolitan (August 2011)

Cosmo also offers a beauty freebie this month! You have the choice between three Miss Guided nail polish shades (orange, electric blue and bright pink). Perfect for this summer's colour-blocking trend! The magazine is £3.50

I found this in my Sunday News of the World. Starting next Sunday, News of the World will publish tokens in their supplement, Fabulous. Those tokens can then be redeem for a free hairdryer, which is worth £15!

I don't have much more info than than, but if you are familiar with NOTW promos, they usually require you to collect 3-4 tokens in different editions (the paper costs £1). You then redeem the tokens at a selected location, which will be specified in the Fabulous mag. (Click here and here for other NOTW beauty promos!)

I don't think I'm going to grab this one as I have a hairdryer already, but I think it's a good promo if you need one.

Yesterday I received my copy of April's Glamour UK! In celebration of their 10th Anniversary, they are offering a Clinique goodie with every copy! Mine is the Superbalm Moisturizing gloss in 10Grapefruit, a nice sheer pink lipgloss. Perfect for spring!

It's not easy to have a foot in a cast when there are new magazines coming out with nice freebies! I wanted to get to the supermarket this weekend in order to buy the new magazines, but couldn't make it in the rainy weather, plus it's a little far away for little old crutch-walking me!

So my boyfriend offered to go and get me some. I wanted Marie Claire and InStyle. Both had a selection of gifts with them, and I wanted to chose a nice one. It's always easier when you're at the store and chosing it yourself!

Anyway, I am really pleased with the ones my boyfriend got me! I got InStyle with a L'Occitane en Provence hand cream in Fleur Chérie. I would have prefered the Cherry Blossom one, but Nick couldn't find it.

The hand cream smells like orange blosom, it is really an uplifting smell!

I also got Marie Claire with a Ciaté Paint Pot in Dangerous Affair, a deep red. There is also a purple one on offer.

I am glad to have that deep red nail polish, as I wanted one for this autumn! The real colour is a little darker than the one in the picture. I really hope the colour pay-off will be the same as in the bottle, or a little darker!

My boyfriend has good taste, I'm glad I can trust him! :)

Hello! I picked up this week's Grazia magazine "5 July 2010", the one with Jennifer Aniston on it. Apparently she wants a baby... And this news is shocking Hollywood (whatever)!

Anyway, if you go to page 117, you get a voucher for 3 sample sized Giorgio Armani products. Those products are Luminous Silk Foundation, Face Fabric (kind of an illuminator) and a blusher.

Well today I popped into Selfridges to get them! Oh! They also do a counsultation. I skipped that part, I was hungry. Well, the pots are about the size I expected, so it's not that bad. But i thought they would also fill the blusher pot, but they didn't.


That is the sad part because of all the product, I thought this one would be worth it as a trial size... And, it is a nice product. Anyway, I am glad of having yet another magazine freebie!

I have just tried the Foundation now, and it has good coverage without being too heavy.

I kinda want to wait to have those MAC Duo Fibre brush to use the foundation, so a little goes a long way...

Downside, I think the products smell like paint.
