I've talked a little bit before about wanting to have a cleaner beauty routine, especially for my face. I know I'm not totally there yet, but I think I'm at a good stage.

Last Winter, a blogger friend of mine, Julie from Let's Talk About Green, told me she would be opening her own green beauty shop in the Spring. And it has now been live since a few weeks now, The Green Jungle Beauty Shop!

It took me a while to decide what I wanted, as there is just so many things that I haven't tried yet! Julie is from Montréal, and she saw that there was a gap in the market for green beauty products here.    And she is right, as I've never seen those brands before, except on blogs, but surely not in the stores nearby!

So I settle for two facial bits and a nail polish, the Skin & Tonic London Brit Beauty Oil, the Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator and the Habit Nail Polish in 05 Sweet Life. Julie sent me extra goodies to try out, such as the Little Alchemist Papaya Cleansing Milk, Moss Nutrient Synergist and Moss Cleansing Dust.

My favourites so far are the Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator and the Little Alchemist Papaya Cleansing Milk. They just feel like a spa treatment when I used them. 

The shipping was really fast, and she wraps everything in recycled paper and boxes. She really is doing her part for a greener Earth!
