This is something I'm going to do today!

Today is Fashion Revolution Day, an awareness day to challenge fashion brands to "demonstrate commitment to transparency across the length of the value chain, from farmers to factory workers, brands to buyers and consumers".

Fashion is the most labor dependent industry in the world, as one is 6 people work along the supply chain. Most of them do so in execrable conditions. 

On that note, Fashion Revolution Day marks the 2nd anniversary of the Rana Plaza disaster in Dhaka, Bangladesh, which killed 1133, and injured over 2500 people.

Do yo know who made your clothes? 

Today, fashion lovers are asked to take a selfie of their clothes tagging the brands and using the hashtag  #whomademyclothes. They can then share the response with their followers. @Fash_Rev will also host a series of fashion "takeovers" to connect supporters and fashion brands.

Last year, tens of thousand of people took part in the Fashion Revolution Day in 66 countries.This year, the organisers are expecting even more!
