Back in Februray, I received an email from Luxe Box asking if I wanted to upgrade my Spring Box with a Limited Edition Benefit one. Hummm? Yes!!!

As oppposed to the other regular box, we already knew what the Benefit box contained. 5 bestselling products in sample size, for a total value of 78$:

The POREfessional balm
They're Real! mascara
Gimme Brow brow gel
It's Potent eye cream
Benetint lip and cheek stain

Out of those 5, I've already tried 2 before, the They're Real mascara and the Benetint. I like both, but I have to say I prefer the mascara. I've also tried the Gimme Brow in Sephora, and liked it. Unfortunately, the one I received in my box is the light/medium one, which is too pale for my brows (my brows are black and sturdy). They did ask for our colour preference, so I don't know what happened there.

I really like the scent of the POREfessional, it make me think of a lemon cake. Now this product is silicon based, so don't know how it's going to sit on oily skin. It does blur the skin though. From the first impressions, it reminds me of Maybelline Baby Skin.

On the other side I'm not too keen on the It's Potent eye cream. To me it smells like an old cream. The colour also reminds me of a product past its due date. From what I have seen online, this look like normal for this product.
 

As I said earlier, this is a limited edition box for Luxe Box,  but it seems to be boxes still available here. I'm glad the "upgrade" was complimentary though, as I don't seem it would be worth it to shell more than the regular fee for it. Maybe if there was a full size product, but not for sample-sized ones.

For those in or near Toronto though, the box contains a voucher for a complimentary brow wax and tint at the Benefit Boutique. Unfortunately, Toronto is way too far for me, so I'm not sure I'll be able to use it. It doesn't have an expiry date, so might be holding on to it if I go.
